What this site collects
This website does not ask visitors to create an account, enter payment details, upload files, or submit private business context. The Main Branch product is local-first: business memory is stored in files controlled by the operator, not in a Main Branch hosted account.
The site may offer optional forms, email signups, or interactive diagnostics. If a visitor uses one of those features, Main Branch may collect the contact information and answers the visitor chooses to submit so it can deliver the requested result, follow up, or improve the website. Visitors should not submit confidential business context, financial information, health information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information through website forms.
The site also uses analytics, advertising measurement, browser features, and a few third-party services described below.
Google Analytics
Mainbranch.run uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage, improve measurement, and measure advertising performance. Analytics may collect page views, traffic sources, session statistics, approximate location, granular location and device information when enabled, browser information, on-site activity, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies.
Google signals data collection is enabled for this property. When a visitor is signed in to a Google account and has allowed Ads Personalization, Google Analytics may associate Google signals data with that visitor's activity for aggregated reporting, demographics and interests reporting, cross-device measurement, remarketing, and key event export to linked Google advertising products. Google says Google signals reports are aggregated and do not expose individual users to Analytics customers.
User-ID collection is enabled for this property. If Mainbranch.run later provides an account, login, or other feature that assigns a stable internal identifier, Analytics may receive a pseudonymous user ID so activity can be understood across sessions, devices, and platforms. Mainbranch.run will not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying personal information as the Google Analytics user ID.
User-provided data collection is enabled for this property. If a visitor chooses to submit information through a form, signup, diagnostic, or similar website feature, Google Analytics may receive user-provided data such as an email address, phone number, name, or address information for improved conversion measurement, audience matching, and advertising integrations. Google Analytics may automatically detect email-address patterns on pages where that feature is active. User-provided data is intended to be normalized and hashed before use by Google. Mainbranch.run does not intentionally ask for sensitive personal information for this purpose.
Ads personalization is allowed for this Analytics property in supported regions. If Mainbranch.run links Analytics to Google Ads or other Google advertising products, Analytics audiences, key events, and measurement data may be shared with those linked products for conversion measurement, audience sharing, remarketing, and personalized advertising where permitted.
Google describes how Analytics data is handled in its Analytics privacy documentation and explains how Google uses information from sites using its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Visitors who do not want Google Analytics JavaScript to send visit information to Google Analytics can use Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising measurement
Mainbranch.run may use the Meta Pixel to understand whether Facebook or Instagram ads lead to site visits and on-site activity. The Pixel can send Meta information such as page views, visited URLs, domains, device and browser information, and website events such as lead or form submissions when those events are configured.
If Meta Automatic Advanced Matching is enabled and a visitor submits information in a website form, the Pixel may use fields such as email address, name, phone number, city, state, ZIP or postal code, and country to improve ad attribution and remarketing. Meta says this information is hashed before it is sent. Mainbranch.run does not intentionally ask for date of birth, gender, financial information, health information, government ID data, or other sensitive personal information for advertising measurement.
Meta may use cookies or similar identifiers and describes its data practices in the Meta Privacy Policy. Visitors can review Facebook ad settings through Facebook ad preferences.
Mainbranch.run may also use Google advertising integrations through Google Analytics, including audiences, key events, and user-provided data collection described above, to measure ad performance, improve conversion attribution, and reach prior visitors or similar audiences with relevant ads.
Optional forms and diagnostics
If Mainbranch.run provides an interactive readiness check, lead form, waitlist, or email signup, submission is optional. The form may ask for information such as name, email address, business type, current tool usage, or workflow preferences. Main Branch uses that submitted information to return the requested result, send requested updates, and understand what visitors want from the product.
Main Branch does not sell submitted contact information. If a form is handled by a third-party form, email, or customer relationship service, that provider may process the submitted information under its own policy.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google-hosted font domains.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads integrations. The site uses Google Analytics 4 with Google signals, User-ID collection, user-provided data collection, granular location and device data collection, and ads personalization settings that may support conversion measurement, audience sharing, and remarketing when linked advertising accounts are configured.
- GitHub. The navigation fetches the public star count for
noontide-co/mainbranchfrom the GitHub API and caches that number in browserlocalStorageundermainbranch.githubStars.v1. - Meta. The Meta Pixel may be loaded for advertising measurement when it is configured for the deployed site. If advanced matching is enabled, submitted contact fields may be hashed and used by Meta for attribution and remarketing.
- Outbound links. Links to GitHub, PyPI, Skool, and other external services are governed by those services' own policies after you leave this site.
